Teaching & Leadership Opportunities
Aim High will be located at 14 campuses across the Bay Area this summer. Job descriptions for summer teaching positions follow.
- Site Directors
- Lead Teachers
- Student Support Specialist (Background in Social Work / Counseling)
- Teaching Interns (College Students or Career Changers)
- Teaching Assistants (High School Students)
- Volunteers (Aim High graduates in 9th or 10th grade, or other unpaid staff)
The summer program for all teachers begins on Monday, June 17, 2013 and continues through Friday, July 26, 2013. Note that for some subjects / positions there may be mandatory workshops during the week of June 10th. July 4th is a holiday, but July 5th is a regular work day.
Online Application to Teach at Aim High
Aim High hires teachers to work with our middle school youth during our summer program. Resumes and applications are accepted year-round for Site Director, Lead Teacher, Teaching Intern and Teaching Assistant positions.
Returning teachers do not need to complete the online application. Returning teachers from the previous summer will be contacted directly by Site Directors if they will be offered a position for the 2013 summer.
Note: Most positions have already been filled so please only fill out an application if you have been recruited by an Aim High staff member.

Interviewing for summer positions typically begins in February and continues until positions at all sites are filled for the summer program. Most hiring is completed by the end of May. Directors at individual sites will contact applicants directly.
Due to the volume of applications we receive we are unable to accept phone calls or respond to emails regarding the status of individual applications. We will send out an email blast to all applicants that have not been hired at the end of the hiring process.
We do not accept emails with attachments or faxes to our office - all applicants must complete the online form.
