How to Donate

Your gift to Aim High supports the dreams of all Aim High students for today and tomorrow.  You can make a powerful difference in the lives of young people in San Francisco, Oakland, the North Bay, on the Peninsula, and in Tahoe/Truckee.

• $2,000 funds a middle school student for one summer.
• $1,500 funds an Aim High graduate or high school student to join the program as a Teaching Assistant.
  
• $2,500 funds an Aim High graduate in college or a college student to teach in the program as an Intern.

Aim High’s fiscal year begins on September 1st and ends on August 31st.

Make a Gift of Appreciated Stock or Mutual Funds
Aim High, also known as Aim High for High School, welcomes your gift of stock or securities. Transfer of ownership is handled electronically between your broker and Aim High’s account at TD Ameritrade. Your broker will need the following instructions to complete the transfer. Once you have instructed your broker to transfer a gift, please contact Alec Lee, at alee@aimhigh.org, or call him at 415.551.2323.

Please let Alec know the name of the stock you are donating and the number of shares. This step will assure that you receive full credit for your gift.
Your own broker should be able to give you a value for tax-deduction purposes. Aim High will value your donation at the median sales price on the day of the transfer.
