Ryann Clover

Ryann Clover is returning for her second summer with Aim High, and her first as a Site Director. Ryann grew up in Riverside, CA and received her B.A. in Music Education from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, her Teaching Credential from Brandman University, and her M.A. of Music from Bard College, Longy School of Music. During the school year, you can find Ryann teaching music to over 500 students at Willow Oaks Elemntary School and going to Oakland A’s games.

In middle school, I was in cheer, choir, and band.

Alfredo Oropeza

Alfredo Oropeza is joining Aim High as a Site Director for his very first summer. Alfredo grew up in Truckee, CA and received his B.A. in Spanish and Latin American Studies and his Bilingual Credential from Chico State University. During the school year, you can find Alfredo teaching science and English language development in a Spanish immersion program at Kennedy Middle School and out on the disc golf course.

In middle school, I would come to school to play with my friends.

Redwood City/Menlo Park

Peter Clifford

Peter Clifford is returning for his fifth summer as an Aim High Site Director in his hometown of Redwood City. Peter received an M.A. in Educational Leadership from Sonoma State University. During the school year, Peter is the Dean of Academics at Ben Franklin Intermediate School in Daly City.

In middle school, I went on an awesome field trip to Old Sacramento and the Capital.

Rosa Ayala

Rosa Ayala is returning for her seventh summer with Aim High, and her fourth as a Site Director. Rosa grew up in Hayward and received degrees from the University of California, Santa Cruz and the National Hispanic University. During the school year, you can find Rosa working as a Bilingual Teacher Associate at East Palo Alto Academy and reading a good book.

In middle school, I was a leader in my community and volunteered in a program called World Vision and UNICEF.

Redwood City (West)

Marcos Lopez

Marcos Lopez is returning for his ninth summer at Aim High, and his third as a Site Director. Marcos grew up in East Palo Alto and attended college at San Jose State University. During the school year, you can find Marcos working as the Dean of Students at East Palo Alto Phoenix Academy and working as a professional DJ.

In middle school, I did not get to walk the stage at my graduation ceremony!

Jessica Gonzalez

Jessica Gonzalez will be returning for her third summer as a Site Director. Jessica was born in Union City and received her M.A. in Public Administration from California State University, East Bay. During the school year, you can find Jessica teaching 12th grade Economics and Government at Conley-Caraballo High School and enjoys all kinds of crafts and sewing projects.

In middle school, I played volleyball, which I continued with in high school.
