Writer, Grants and Donor Communications

Alix recently leapt West from Portland, Maine and landed at Aim High in April 2018. In the cozy New England city she called home for nearly five years, she served as an AmeriCorps VISTA member and assistant director of a halfway house. Most recently, Alix worked at Maine Cancer Foundation, where she spent her days employing strategic and creative communications plans to engage community members, donors, and other stakeholders. She received her B.A. in Music History and M.S. in Professional Communication from Clark University in Worcester, MA. Nowadays she can be found chasing the sun on long walks through the city and marveling at the lack of snow.
