Jasmin Gamez has been involved in community engagement for over 8 years. She worked as an after-school teacher at the Jamestown Community Center in San Francisco with low-income youth who were multiple grade levels behind and who had trouble socializing with others. From there she continued on to teach in Egypt for two years. These experiences prepared her to work in challenging environments and with individuals from different cultural and socio-economic backgrounds. In 2015, she moved back to San Francisco, where she worked for Community Housing Partnership with individuals and families who were previously homeless, some suffered from substance dependence and mental health issues.
She recently graduated from the Central European University School of Public Policy with a masters in public administration concentrating in media and communication policy. Jasmin is excited to join Aim High team as a Development Associate.
