Community Engagement Manager
Mariah is a proud SF native and Aim High graduate who later returned as a volunteer, teaching assistant, and development intern in the Central Office. She attended Lick-Wilmerding High School, Aim High’s flagship campus, and Occidental College in Los Angeles where she studied Diplomacy and World Affairs and Spanish. Post college, she fulfilled a Fulbright English Teaching Assistantship in Mexico, and post teaching, decided to devote her professional career to international development and educational work. To continue her passion for the the social impact space, she went on to work at Kiva Microfunds and then Net Impact.
Mariah has returned to the Aim High family as the Events and Community Manager, where she will be managing events as well as supporting community and corporate engagement. She is thrilled to be apart of an organization that has motivated her to love learning and has deeply impacted her academic and professional career path.
