Deputy Director of Development
Marianne joined Aim High’s development team in 2018. Previously, she launched and led the alumni relations program at the Urban School (an Aim High site!) as the school’s first Director of Alumni Relations. Before shifting into the education and nonprofit sector, Marianne taught English in Tainan, Taiwan, and worked on the Transaction Management team at Babcock & Brown, a global investment advisory firm. She also served as a trustee for Children’s Day School in San Francisco’s Mission District (also an Aim High site!) which is where she discovered her passion for education and youth development. Marianne learned about Aim High through Babcock & Brown’s corporate giving program and was thrilled to have the opportunity to join the organization many years later. She holds a BA in English from Santa Clara University.
Marianne lives in San Francisco with her husband Bill and two teenage daughters. Together they enjoy exploring new places, trying new foods and spending time with their friends and large extended family.
