Vice President of Teaching and Organizational Learning
Michelle Capobres joined the Aim High team in the spring of 2011. Michelle was a high school social studies and literature teacher for seven years and returned to the nonprofit sector as the Education Program Officer for the World Affairs Council of Northern California. Her past volunteer activities include serving on the People of Color in Independent Schools (POCIS) Executive Board. Michelle received her B.A. in Asian Studies from the University of Michigan, an M.A. in Social Studies Education from Teachers College Columbia University, and an M.P.A. with a focus on non-profit administration from San Francisco State University. Michelle works closely with other Aim High staff, Site Directors, and teachers to develop, enhance, and measure quality programming.
